 "2 inches is everyday, 3 inches is party time, and 4 inches is when I'm feelin naughty and I'm gettin' mine." Those are the not so famous lyrics to Ashanti's single 'Switch' and if you feel how I feel about heels this will ultimately become the anthem for when you are getting ready to what else? PARTY! You know its the weekend and the hottest thing to set off any outfit is the perfect pair of heels. But, do not go out in anything over 4 inches, if so I must warn you, you'll be getting cat calls and not the good ones. You know the kind when they are asking what hotel you are staying in and how much you charge. Believe it or not anything over 4 inches is hooker heels. Yes, I said hooker heels. If they are clear platform shoes, do not wear outside of your house, that is a big no-no.
Not to mention that if they happen to be 4 inch heels, and a 3 inch platform rise, they are seven inches and the end result will be you breaking your neck! Remember Dani, America’s next Top Model Cycle 6. Yes, that girl, sprained ankle, was it? Lucky for her she had crutches, but who seriously wants to have crutches waiting in the car in case of such an incident? I certainly do not. My solution is to wear those kind of heels to a halloween party, that way you'll blend in with the other streetwalkers or ladies of the night, catch what I'm saying? There is some good news about wearing 'hooker heels' though; they are becoming fashionable on the runway. I personally will not recommend this said trend done by designer Scherer Gonzalez but what the heck, to each their own. Now for people who live in the real world and do not have the luxury of getting paid to walk down the street in such a masterpiece, take lightly to these tips and they shall not lead you astray, unless of course you want them to. DON'T: - Show up at school in 4 inch pumps. I know from personal experience they are not the most comfortable to wear in the hallways with mobs of students coming right at you.
- Heels must not be clear! That is the number one clue as to where you purchased your heels from.
- Please, no 4 inch or above heels at homecoming or prom, basically any dance that is going to involve a cute dress. It makes the dress seem cheap as well.
- Wear a short skirt, dress, or shorts for that matter with anything higher than a 2 inch heel. As a matter of fact a kitten heel will probably be best.
DO: - Remember it is not about who can dress the trashiest for a party.
- If you get a pair make sure you are being realistic about what you will be doing in these shoes, not suitable for running.

- Never wear anything for someone else.
- Remember that if you do not feel comfortable in the shoes you will not look comfortable.
- Wear to a Halloween party or any party that involves a hot nurse costume, stripper, or whatever else you can think of that may qualify.
