angelinajolie.jpgOften referred to as ‘the most beautiful woman in the world,’ Angelina Jolie is arguably one of the sexiest, sassiest and absolutely gorgeous females around. Well girls, we may not be able to achieve her looks, but we can still try to mirror her image by trying out some of those killer hairstyles. Angelina’s hair has progressed over the years; she has been a blonde, brunette and once even had purple hair. She can pull off any hairstyle, from having a shaved head when she was young (ok, maybe not that one!) to plaits in Tomb Raider, but I have to say since she has met Brad, her style has become a lot more classy and sophisticated.

With school dances and parties coming up, I thought it would be best to show you how to create one of Angelina’s red carpet hairstyles, so you too can look amazing for that big event.

To create this look you will need the following items:
(All of these can be found on www.hairproducts.com )
•    Hair dryer
•    Curling irons
•    Hair grips

(These hair products can be found at www.folica.com )
•    CHI shine infusion thermal polishing spray
•    Bumble and bumble Shine hairspray
•    Frizz-ease hair serum extra strength formula

First, blow-dry you hair, applying CHI Shine Infusion Thermal Polishing Spray to wet hair, this will protect your hair from the thermal equipment and help mold your hair.

Secondly, run your fingers through the front of your hair, try and create body or volume in the top of your hair by either back combing it with a comb (hold a strip of hair, and comb downwards quickly, however this may sometimes cause frizz) or by gently pushing the hair from the top of your head forward. When the height looks right for you, clip it in place using the hair grips, loosely pull back any remaining hair from the sides, and pin it in place at the back of the head (do not pull it tight, the messier the better) Don't forget to leave out a fringe or a small amount of hair on the front to help frame your face. Then use Bumble and Bumble Shine Hairspray all over the top and the side of your hair, which will give you the confidence you need to dance about without feeling insecure about your hair falling out. Too much, however, will create sticky hair.

Finally, using your fingers only (a brush may cause your hair to frizz or may pull your clips out of place) carefully drag you hair around to the side, if it appears to have a slight frizz, use the Frizz Ease Hair Serum, but only a small amount otherwise your hair will appear greasy, and we don’t want that do we girls. Using fairly chunky/thick curling irons put around 5-8 loose curls in the hair you brought to the side and again spray with Bumble and Bumble Spray. To finish, run your fingers through your curls, to loosen them further and create a nice flowing effect. Also, it’s a good idea to use a nice sparkle butterfly or some other nice hair clip in the back of your hair, not only would it create a more elegant look, it will also hide those hair grips. Then make the most of all your hard work, by having an extra good time, you could even try and bag yourself your own Brad Pitt!
