Looking for cool shirts from new designers? I’ve got four of my own personal favorites for you.
BranVille
“Everything in life is an inspiration,” says BranVille Clothing creator, Brandon Holley. The now 21-year old designed the line when he was just 18-years-old. “I grew up in San Diego, CA playing in a bunch of bands and I always made our merch for every show. After watching my bands merch sell like crazy and with the idea from a fan of ours, I ran with that and started my own line. I design every piece myself and screen print a majority of it myself as well. It’s been a crazy roller coaster ride and I can't wait to see what the future holds for BranVille.”
The reason BranVille is one of my favorites is because of its eye-catching, wild designs. Besides it being a favorite of mine, Brandon says you should wear BranVille because, “BranVille focuses on making you look sexy. You are bound to party like a rockstar in our clothing!” Check out more from BranVille at www.BranVille.com
Assault Shirts
Assault Shirts are like no other you have likely seen. One of my favorite Assault shirts is the one featured here not only because of its unique design, but also for the message it represents. “The elimination of your rights has been happening while you've sat there oblivious.” Assault suggests you can make up for that by making a statement and wearing this Patriot Sam shirt.
Started within the last year Assault Shirts is the brainchild of Tim Toomey, 24, and Craig Kaplowitz, 25, two friends who say they decided to start the company after, “working for The Man just too damn long and it was time to be [our] own bosses.” Take that Uncle Sam! OriginOne
No matter what color your skin may be, OriginOne represents you. Like Assault shirts and Uba Wear below, OriginOne is a favorite of mine because of its message. The designers behind the line say their story is simple. “We all came from the same place. We all share a common origin. We believe that understanding our one origin will unite us and promoting our collective birth will bring us closer together.”
The point of OriginOne and its shirts is to promote human oneness. “Human oneness is about looking past differences that don’t matter. Human oneness is about giving everyone the benefit of a blank slate upon which you can form an opinion after you get to know them.” If you don’t just want to wear clothes, but you want to embrace clothes and make a statement doing it, then OriginOne is your answer. I am a huge fan and I hope you will be too. Buy an OriginOne shirt at www.iamOriginOne.com
üba wear
My fourth and final favorite shirt designer is üba wear, a peace-themed t-shirt line that poses the important question, “why not peace?” The t-shirts featuring that message come in six different languages (English, Chinese, French, Russian, Spanish, and Arabic). And, not only are you making a statement by wearing üba wear, but you’re also making a donation. “50% of üba wear's profits are contributed to non-profit organizations focused on promoting peace through a transparent voting process involving customers; remaining profits support the üba foundation's [why not peace] project."
