Guys out there! Have you worn holes in your old underwear? Was the last time you got new ones when your mother picked them out for you? Or maybe you’re looking for some that are comfortable but also sexy? Don’t be ashamed. Girls like it when you care about being sexy.
There are a few things to consider while picking out boxers: the style, the tightness, the fabric, the length and the presence of a button. Some styles have buttons while others don’t. Also, stick to dark colors unless there is a happy face included. There are five different styles to choose from: boxers, briefs, boxer briefs, trunks and thongs. Though for this, we’ll leave thongs and briefs out of the picture. The most popular are boxers, boxer briefs and trunks, the last two being pretty much the same thing. Trunks are a little bit shorter than boxer briefs, but that is pretty much the only difference.
Check out the Men's Trunks with ComfortSoft Waistband at www.hanes.com. Reasonably priced at $12 for 4 boxers, the ultra soft cotton is always comfortable against skin, and the ComfortSoft waistband stretches and never pinches. It is tagless and will be comfortable in back as well. My husband likes these but says that the shortness of the trunks may cause your legs to rub together so keep that in mind. They may not be ideal if you’re planning on an extended workout. You can also find them and similar Hanes boxers at Kohl’s . For something easier to work out in check out their performance boxer briefs, $15 for 2, or classics $24 for 4, both sold at Kohl’s. The performance boxer briefs are better at staying tight on your body throughout the day vs the typical boxer briefs that as you wear them they become loose. You can also try the Target equivalent, Merona, $9.99 for 2 boxer briefs.
Looking for something a bit more fun and silly? Try the Joe Boxer brand. Check out “Mr. Licky” in yellow, red, gray or black. Although these are a bit of a novelty, they are also quite sexy. The protruding tongue can easily inspire interesting conversation. They are just fun! The loose-fit and soft cotton also make for a very comfortable wear. You can get them for $8.99 each at Kmart. Say what you will about Kmart, but they have cute underwear for both guys and girls. Also, for the same price check out their seasonal favorites, such as candy canes. Some styles are buttonless in front though so keep that in mind. Try out a few of each brand and see what works best for you!
