Donna Kauffman and her book, The Cinderella Rules, is by far the best book I have read all summer. Great for ages 18+, it is definitely a must read.
Darby Landon left behind a life of wealth and pleasure for the rough world of her Montana ranch. But, when her baby sister calls pleading for a favor, she can’t say no. Her yes sends her straight into Cinderella training where she is transformed into a stunning socialite. Sent to D.C. to entertain one of her father’s perspective business partners, she finds herself in deeper then she expected.
This book took a surprising turn which made it even better! It’s one that I could easily read over and over again!
This book is great for anyone 20+. Dr. Judy Goldstein and Sebastian Stuart do a great job in this joint effort. 24-Karat Kids is one of the best book I’ve read all summer!
Dr. Shelly Green just finished her residency at a remarkable hospital and is surprised to find herself presented with an offer to join an already well established pediatrics practice. Especially because it is located in the Upper East Side, home to the city’s richest. Shelly soon finds herself catering to the upper class and is soon joining in on there extravagance. She undergoes many changes but in the end she realizes that what she really wants is the very thing she had all along.
This was one book that I just couldn’t seem to put down! It’s a must read for every girl and the ending was perfect!
This is a great book for anyone ages 16-20. Alyson Noel does a great job capturing the struggles that girls go through on the road to being popular.
Winter and her best friend, Sloane, made a pact to become popular together and swore that they would stick together. However, when Sloane finds it easier to become friends with the most popular girls in school, she is more than willing to leave Winter in the dust. Winter tries repeatedly to fit in, but has no success. Furious with her former best friends betrayal, Winter begins a blog that features all of Sloane’s dirty secrets. Of course the blog is anonymous, but it wouldn’t stay that way for long!
This book was a very entertaining read. It’s easy to get caught up with Winter as she struggles to find her place in the social scene and as she tries to find herself. Be sure to check this book out!
This book is great for anyone 18+. Written by Janice Kaplan & Lynn Schnurnberger, bestselling authors of Mine Are Spectacular!, The Men I Didn’t Marry is a great book. Janice Kaplan & Lynn Schnurnberger seem to be perfect together.

This book is the perfect book to take to the beach or the pool. It’s a great read and I definitely recommend it.

This book is good for anyone ages 14-18. Written by Debra Garfinkle, who is also the author of The Band: Trading Guys. The Band: Holding On is the second book following the band Amber Road. I read this one without reading the first one and had no problems, so if you didn’t read the first one, you won’t be too lost in this one. It is a quick read and keeps your attention throughout the entire book.
The rock band Amber Road is hoping to make it big but will conflict within the group keep them down? Mark, the founder of the band dumped band mate Sienna to date lead singer Lily and it puts a little strain on the band. Sienna is forced to deal with Lily and Mark and her best friend Tracie, who is always causing drama and needing Sienna to save her from everything. But when Sienna and Tracie’s ex, Carter, fall for each other will it be the end of their friendship?
The book mixes relationship drama with the drama and sacrifices required to make it big in the music industry. You can read as Amber Road struggles to make peace within the band and struggle to do what it takes to make it into the music business. The book is a decent read and I would suggest it to anyone looking for something quick and entertaining to read.
This book is great for anyone between the ages of 16-20. Written by Liza Conrad, author of High School Bites, the book mixes teenage drama with the world of illegal high-stakes poker.
Lula is just your average girl. If your average girl split her time between fancy brunches with her mother and backroom poker games with her father. Lula is a mix of uptown and downtown New York and manages to maintain a balance between the two. Until now that is. When her friend Dack looses more than he could afford in an illegal poker game, Lula comes to the rescue and wins it all back in another illegal game. Unfortunately, there end up being some very major consequences.
This book has just enough poker terminology to make it interesting, but thankfully not enough to make it annoying. Its a great story about friendship and looking out for your loved ones. Its a relatively fast read and very enjoyable and will keep you entertained with every turn of the page! It’s definitely a great read!
