Have you ever had a book that you just couldn’t put down? Well Marked, by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast, was one of those books for me. This book is great for anyone ages 16 and older!
Sixteen-year old Zoey was just your average girl dealing with boyfriend issues and high school drama. Until she was Marked. In the hallway after school Zoey is Marked as a fledgling vampyre and must now move to the House of Night, a vampyre training school that will help her as she transforms into an adult vampyre. Unfortunately, no amount of training will help her if her body rejects the change. Rejection of the change is not rare and leads to death. Luckily for Zoey, she isn’t your average fledgling. Chosen as special by Nyx, the vampyre goddess, Zoey is given powers that are unheard of for fledglings and for most adult vampyres. As Zoey struggles to hide her differences from the other fledglings she is forced to reveal them to her friends, who must help her stop a disaster from happening.
Will Zoey and her friends stop the disaster in time? Will she embrace what the goddess has planned for her? You’ll have to read to find out and I suggest you do just that!
