Every Crooked Pot by Renee Rosen is a great book for anyone ages 14 and older.
With a birthmark covering her right eye, Nina has never felt normal. So, she tries everything that she can think of to fit in and end up in a bunch of crazy adventures.
This book is a good read and very interesting. The funny adventures that Nina has are sure to keep you entertained!

Carol Snow does a fantastic job on her first book: Been There, Done That. This book was fun to read and is great for anyone ages 18 and older!
Kathy Hopkins is in her thirty’s and a writer for Salad magazine. Moving from an interior design type section to writing about education is a big change for her. One that she finds extremely dull and she definitely finds her self missing the perks of free samples! Her dull job is not the only problem Kathy has! She looks so young that she gets carded every time she tries to order a glass of wine and she finds herself embarrassed by that more than once! However her youthful appearance could lead to her big break as a journalist.
When Tim, her ex, hears about a prostitution ring that is flourishing in a small liberal arts college, he wants Kathy to go in, get the dirt, and help him break the story. Kathy begins posing as an eighteen year old freshman and is forced to deal with a weird roommate, late night parties, and a crush on her RA, all while trying to dig up college prostitutes.
Will Kathy be able to break the big story under the time restrictions her overbearing boss has given her? Or will she have to leave without the real story? You’ll have to read to find out!

Every book I read makes me fall more in love with reading and Beneath a Marble Sky by John Shors, was no exception and is great for anyone 18 and over. This amazing story starts with Jahanara, Princess of Hindustan, sharing her true identity with her grand-daughters, who know nothing of their family’s incredible history.
Jahanara is educated and outspoken, something that is unexpected in seventeenth-century Hindustan. As a child she studies and spends time with her family and lives a life free of worry and full of wealth. However when her mother dies leaving her father consumed with grief she takes on the duty of caring for him. When he decided to build a magnificent mausoleum to show how much he loved her, the great Taj Mahal would be created. Jahanara, although already married to a horrible man who frequently forces himself on her and physically abuses her, falls in love with its builder. Over the years, as her father starts fading, his war and power hungry son, Aurangzeb, decides that he should be the one to take over the empire instead of his peace loving brother, Dara. The fighting rips the family apart and Aurangzeb eventually takes control of the empire, thrusting the country into turmoil. Jahanara must fight for her life and the lives of her loved ones. Following the death of her father, she manages to finally escape for good and stays away, hiding her secret until the day she decides to tell her grand daughters who they truly are.
With every page of this book I felt like I was being transported. I couldn’t put this book down and read it every chance I got. This is one book that I could read over and over again, just to see if I missed anything. Its a must read for any romance or history lover!

Gayle Forman does an amazing job with her book, Sisters in Sanity. With Teen Boot Camps currently a hot issue, this book explores the world of so-called “treatment centers” This book is great for anyone age 16 and up.
Brit is not very excited when she is informed that she must miss her bands first really big gig to go on a family trip to the Grand Canyon. Unfortunately she never makes it there. After being tricked by her father and taken to Red Rock, a treatment center that claims to cure rebellious teen girls, Brit is in shock. With her father under the delusion that Red Rock will actually cure her of her “rebellious behavior”, Brit struggles to cope with Red Rock’s therapy that does more harm than good. With its staff of under-qualified counselors telling her she is crazy and no one willing to listen to what is really going on at this tough love treatment center, Brit and her new found friends must find away to escape Red Rock before things get worse. But with counselors separating the girls and having others spy on them, will they even have a chance to meet? The girls also struggle to figure out where they will go once one of them gets out?
Brit, V, Bebe, Martha, and Cassie struggle to help each other overcome the nightmare of Red Rock, but as they learn more about each other will there bound break? Will they find a way to shut the school down and prevent it from ruining the lives of other young girls? You’ll have to read it to find out and that is definitely what I suggest!

In the third book in Mari Mancusi’s vampire series, Girls That Growl, we find ourselves once again following Rayne McDonald, vampire and vampire slayer. This book is great for anyone 14 and older.

This book is a great follow up to the ones before it! Be sure to check it out!

This new series by Emily Franklin is just as amazing as her Principles of Love Novels. Balancing Acts, the first book in this new series is a great book for anyone 16 and over.
Melissa, Harley, and Lily seem to be complete opposites but when they are forced to work together in one of the most exclusive ski resorts they quickly become close friends. After exaggerating on her job application, Melissa finds herself in some trouble as the new cook. She quickly learns as she goes with the help of Lily, aka Dove, the maid, but no one can help her with her boy problems. Dove, a former rich society girl, is dealing with getting used to her new lifestyle of choice, hiding her rich girl past, and struggling with the problems of a long distance relationship. Harley, the hostess comes from a small Colorado town and is trying to catch the attention of a top-ranked skier, who also seems to have eyes for Melissa.
These girls are in for one hot winter as they try and balance work and fun. It is easy to get swept up in this great book and it is one I would definitely recommend! This series is definitely one to get into!

Betrayed, the second book in the House of Night series by P.C and Kristin Cast, is even better than the first! When I sat down with this book I couldn’t stop reading and I found myself unwilling to go to sleep until I finished it! This book is great for anyone ages 16 and up!
Finally, Zoey has started to settle in at the House of Night school. After saving her ex-boyfriend and several other fledglings when a ritual goes bad, she is made Leader of the Dark Daughters, and is on the path to become a High Priestess. Suddenly, Zoey’s new found happiness is threatened when human teenagers started to disappear and all signs point to the House of Night. When Zoey’s ex-boyfriend is taken, she must figure out who is behind it and how to stop them before he is killed just like the two before him. Will Zoey have the courage to save him? To make things worse one of Zoey’s friends does not make it through the change and dies….at least thats what everyone thinks. And Zoey is forced to deal with the realization that she has misplaced her trust in someone.
Will Zoey be able to overcome all of the changes that are happening? You’ll have to wait and see! This book will leave you wanting more but unfortunately we’ll have to wait until March, when Chosen, the third book in this thrilling series comes out! This is definitely a series to stick with!
