Lucy’s mother, Miranda, had her when she was only 18, just as her mother before her and her mother before her. Their children have always been girls and the mothers have gone insane as soon as they have their children. The reason for this? A curse. It seems hard to believe, but when Lucy ends up pregnant at the same age of her mother after being raped, she starts to believe the story she finds in her mother’s letter.  But according to the letter, she has to complete three impossible tasks, before her baby is born or she will face the same fate as her mother.

As Lucy sets out to do the impossible she is happy to have Zach and her adoptive parents on her side.  As she completes the first task, Padraig Seeley, who has worked his magic to find out all he can about Lucy (and who, it turns out, is responsible for the curse on her family), does everything within his power to make sure she doesn’t complete the remaining two tasks. But will she be able to complete the two remaining tasks before her child is born?

This book was absolutely AMAZING! I could read it over and over again. In fact I think I might have to again soon! I would definitely recommend this book to everyone I know! It is great for anyone ages 15 and older!
