Amanda is all set for the cousins-only weekend at her Aunts estate in Texas. Unfortunately, she isn’t officially a cousin, but simply the cousin of a cousin. The only reason she is going is to give her cousin Jack moral support. As a storm starts brewing, the weekend goes from bad to worse. When strange and scary things start happening Amanda becomes determined to find out what is going on. When it looks like someone at the estate may be responsible for her late uncleâs death and the disappearance and possible death of her cousin Jack, Amanda finds herself in more danger then she could have imagined. Will she be able to find the killer before she becomes the next victim?

This  book was definitely slow in the beginning and I almost stopped reading it. Of course I couldn’t stop because I needed to find out who the killer was! The ending wasn’t as much of a mystery as I would have liked, but all in all this was still a good book.
