Airhead

Emerson Watts didn’t want to go with her little, cheerleader-wannabe sister, Frida, however she still ended up at the new SoHo Stark Megastore grand opening. She figured she would endure the torture, but she got a lot more than she bargained for. When disaster strikes at the mall, Emerson wakes up to find that she is not herself, literally.

Now, stuck living the life of Nikki Howard, Emerson Watts is legally dead. No one but her family and a few of Nikki’s business associates knows that Emerson Watts is alive and well, just in Nikki Howard’s gorgeous body. As Emerson tries to adjust to her new life as a model, she most cope with the lose of her best friend. Will “Nikki” be able to win him back or will Emerson lose everything that was once dear to her?

Meg Cabot has never written a book that I haven’t liked, but so far Airhead is my absolute favorite! This is definitely a book to check out!

  1. My favorite Meg Cabot book would have to be…..the Size 12 series.

One of my favorites is the Princess Diaries.

Size 12 is Not Fat: A Heather Wells Mystery is a good vacation book and a quick read.

I like the Queen of Babble.

Queen of Babble Gets Hitched is a good follow-up book.

Her new book, Airhead, looks like a good one.

  7. I liked the story of Victoria and the Rogue. Reminded me of the old Shirley Temple movie.

  8. I guess I’m the only one entering- so far. Meg Cabot has a lot of good books, so it’s hard to pick just one.

Avalon High is good teen romance.

  9. Er…I was the first to enter actually. Anyway, all of Meg’s books are awesome. ;)

  10. OK Two of us are entering! Where’s everybody else? Yeah, Meg’s books are really good and the Size 12 Series are good.

  11. I’m not too worried. At least this way we know we’ll get a t-shirt if there is no one else to pick from. :P

Anyway, I just finished the third Queen of Babble and loved it! I love that series. Too bad there won’t be a fourth. Luckily we have a fourth coming in the Size 12 series!

  12. Question for Meagan:
Above it states contest ends July 21 as well as submit a comment through July 30. So, does this end July 21 or 30?

All American Girl is great at capturing the current teen picture.

  13. Ooh, yeah, I was wondering that too. I hope it ends July 21. This is like my sixth or seventh contest trying to win a t-shirt. I’d rather it end early so maybe I have a better chance at winning. :P

Anyway, I loved AAG. I plan on rereading it sometime soon before I read the sequel. I know, I’m way behind considering the sequel has been out for forever. I hope it’s as good as the first, it was my fourth Meg book that I read so it’s one of my favorites.

  14. It finishes July 30 - thanks for changing that!

All the Princess Diaries books are pretty good.

  15. My favorites in the PD series are the third and probably this last one (the 9th). I can’t wait for PD10! I’m sad it’s ending. I’ll probably have to reread the series once it’s over. :P

  16. Pants on Fire is another good book.

  17. I listened to Pants on Fire as an audiobook. I thought it was good but didn’t like it as well as her other books. I would probably considering it one of my least favorites. Although I’ll probably read it again in actual book format someday because the person who read the audio got the tone of voice wrong (at least I thought so) in some parts.

  18. The Boy Next Door is a cute way to tell a story through emails even if it is predictable.

  19. The Boy Next Door was my favorite in the series! I loved it so much.

Boy Meets Girl was really good too. I was only lukewarm with Every Boy’s Got One. Did you like those two?

  20. Yeah, I agree - those two are the best of that series.

  21. Great. :)

What do you think about the PD series? Are you in favor of Michael or JP? I like them both so I’m okay with her being with either of them. I think she’ll have a better relationship with JP, though. Unless all she does is make out with him too. Lol.

  22. Mia is asking for trouble between Lilly and herself by getting involved with JP - even though Jp broke up with Lilly.

  23. True, but like Meg has said, Lily’s reasons for being exceedingly pissy about everything will come out and everyone will be more sympathetic. I assume that means the Mia-JP thing also won’t be as big a deal.

  24. I really loved Airhead! Its my favorite Meg Cabot book!

  25. I am still a huge fan of the Princess Diaries series! Hope I win!

  26. Princess Diaries series are overall good reads.

  27. Teen Idol was really good. I almost forgot about that one, but just saw it on my bookshelf! :P

  28. Airhead may become my favorite.

  29. I loved Airhead but not as much as her others. I can’t wait for its sequel though!

  30. I still want to read Nicola and the Viscount.

  31. You should! I loved it! It was my favorite between it and Victoria and the Rogue. :D

  32. Big Boned from the Heather Mills series was also pretty good.

  33. Yes! I love that series! It’s my favorite like I said in my very first comment. :)

I can’t wait for the next two books! I’m so glad Meg decided to continue the series.

  34. princess in pink

  35. Meg is very prolific and writes under several names.

  36. Yeah, I haven’t read any of her romances that she wrote under Patricia Cabot but probably will someday. I actually have a few of the 1-800 books (planning to read soon) under the name Jenny Carroll. :P

  37. Jessica sounds like a teenaged “Medium” in the blurbs about those books.

  38. I’ve never seen that show but maybe!

Allie Finkle sounds good, even if it is a middle grade series. I’ll still probably read it. :D

  39. I like the way she can write at different levels: middle school, high school and adult.

  40. Jinx was a great book as well. I don’t read mangas but I plan on getting the Jinx mangas once they’re released and give it a try. ;)

  41. All-American Girl was a good book.

  42. Yes! It is. I plan on rereading it soon because I finally got Ready or Not, and it’s been years since I read AAG.

  43. Loved them all!

  44. I haven’t read that one yet but will look for it.

  45. I can’t wait for the tenth and final installment in the Princess Diaries series! It should be a good one. ;)

  46. Too bad the next Princess Diaries book is the final one - maybe she’ll do more after all.

  47. Yeah, she’s said she will. It will be nice to drop in on Mia from time to time. I’ve been reading the series since I was a sophomore in high school. It’s what introduced me to Meg in the first place!

  48. Size 14 Is Not Fat Either is a good continuation of Size 12 Is Not Fat.

  49. I can’t wait to read Airhead.

  50. Airhead is very good. You’ll really like it. :)

Big Boned is also a great installment to the Heather Wells series. I really wish the fourth was coming out this year. Oh well, maybe next year!
