My Opinion:Melissa De La Cruz does a wonderful job combining typical school drama with the thrilling adventures of vampires! Lately I have been attracted to all things vampire and I found Blue Blood to be just what I needed!
Schuyler Van Allen doesn’t fit in at Duchesne, the private school she attends in New York City and she is convinced that she never will. She prefers to vintage, thrift store finds to the designer duds her classmates seem to love so much. But when she turns fifteen her entire life is changed. Schuyler soon finds that she has the attention of Jack Force, the most popular boy in school, who has never even seemed to know she existed! Even more surprising, she is reacting strangely to the death of a schoolmate whom she wasn’t even friends with!
As Schuyler finds herself amid Manhattan’s most exclusive circles, she quickly learns that its members are more than powerful: they are unhuman! Known as Blue Bloods, this ancient group of vampires always believed themselves to be invincible, until now that is. Something is preying on the group and Schuyler sets out to find the truth, but quickly discovers that she is among the most desirable of prey.
