Painting Caitlyn by Kimberly Joy Peters is another great book from Lobster Press. Lobster Press is the perfect place to go if you want a book that has a moral story. This book is the perfect book for anyone who has ever been in or seen someone who was in an abusive relationship.

Caitlyn feels like everything in her life is going wrong. Her best friend has been spending more time with her new boyfriend then with her and her mom and stepfather have been doing everything in their power to have a baby. A baby that Caitlyn fears will be more important than she is. She feels like everyone in her life is focusing on all things but her, until Tyler comes along.

Tyler is gorgeous and 16 and Caitlyn can’t believe that he wants to be with her. He isn’t your typical guy, he actually gets in touch with her right away after they meet instead of waiting a few days or a week. He seems like the perfect guy and makes it his mission to spend as much time with Caitlyn as possible, even to the point where she doesn’t spend a second with anyone else. As her grades start to fall and she becomes almost unable to paint. When Tyler begins to have “accidents” and pushes Caitlyn to do things that she isn’t ready for, she begins to wonder if he loves her like he says. However, he keeps pushing and she gives in to him. But then he goes to far and Caitlyn realizes that she has to get out, but will she be able to or is it too late?
