She’s So Money by Cherry Cheva is a great book for anyone ages 16 and up!

Maya has always been the good girl with the good grades. Her social life is less then fabulous but she is always busy! Splitting her time between her parents’ restaurant and tutoring, Maya is trying her hardest to save money for college. But when her parents leave her in charge of the restaurant for a weekend things don’t go exactly as planned. After a long day of work she wants nothing more than to go home, so she skips out on the normal clean-up. Unfortunately, the health department decides to make a stop the very next day and the restaurant ends up with a hefty fine because of her. Maya can’t tell her parents because they would freak out and never be able to pay it, so she has to figure out how to come up with the money herself.

When Camden King steps into the picture he offers her a solution: do his homework for cash. Maya decides to do it but quickly becomes involved in an elaborate cheating ring and evens gets her friends to do homework for their many clients. However, Maya isn’t completely honest with her friends about why she started her little business, and about a few other things too. As Maya struggles to hide her business she also has to deal with Camden, who seems to be getting under her skin more and more lately. Will Maya’s whole world come crashing down or will she find away to pay the bill and avoid getting caught?
