erichutchinson_copy.jpgEric Hutchinson proved his talent not only by singing, but playing the guitar and piano as well, when he took the stage for a 45 minute, action filled set at the Rosemont Theatre supporting Kelly Clarkson on her “All I Ever Wanted Tour.”

The multi-talented performer combines folk style lyrics with pop beats that has gained him comparisons to the likes of Jason Mraz, Billy Joel, and Ben Folds. Hutchinson didn’t just arrive on the music scene overnight and his dedication to his craft is finally paying off as he has been named Yahoo! ‘Who’s Next Artist,’ VH1 ‘You Oughta Know Artist,’ and AOL ‘About To Pop Artist.’ Hutchinson’s set include fan favorite Rock and Roll and other selections of his album titled, “Sounds Like This.”

Notably evident throughout his performance was his comfort onstage and willingness to interact with the crowd. At one point he hopped around the stage in an unchoreographed boyish demeanor looking like someone dancing in front of their mirror before a homecoming dance. This authenticity in the performance combined with his musical talent will allow Hutchinson to continue making music for years to come to the delight of a loyal following.
