The film stars a street dancer, Thomas (Damon Wayans Jr.) and Megan (Shoshana Bush), a ballet dancer who together form a strong passion for dancing.  Sounds like many other popular dance films, right? Director, Damien Dante Wayans said, “It’s always the same repetition with these movies.  That’s when you know it’s time to get Wayans!”

Teen Scene sat down with the two stars of the film, Damon Wayans Jr. and Shoshana Bush.  Just because you haven’t seen all the popular dance films, doesn’t mean this film isn’t for you.  Damon says, “It has a lot of physical humor that appeals to everyone!”  Damon who worked with his Father, Uncles and Cousins on this film knew that in one way or another, they would be up to no good.  Damon explains, “One day during the rain scene they kept having me dance and didn’t yell cut!  But I went over and shook off like a dog!”  With this being the first time Shoshana has worked with the Wayans’s, she said, “It was like summer camp! I’m always learning, laughing and having a good time!”  Playing the part of Megan, Shoshana exclaims, “Was a way to dress up in different outfits and in body different characters! I have a new found respect for dancing!”

Both Damon Wayans Jr. and Shoshana Bush are two up and coming stars that we will see much more of! Dance your way to theaters now to see Dance Flick!
