Seventeen year old, Britt McKillip, sure knows fame. Born January 18,
1991 in British Columbia, Canada, Britt grew up being surrounded by
influences. Her father, Tom McKillip, is a producer and her mother,
Lynda McKillip, is a songwriter. Her older sister, Carly McKillip, is
an actress and a singer. Britt performs together with Carly as a
country duo called, "Saving Grace." The duo are currently recording
their debut CD, which Britt says she is very excited to add it to her
collection of, "driving to school CD's.
Besides being a talented singer, Britt is also a talented actress just
like her sister Carly. She has been the voices in various movies such
as, "Barbie: Fairytopia," and "Bratz Super Babyz." She was also the
voice of Lola in "Baby Looney Toons." Now, a little older and a little
wiser, Britt has stepped up to play roles in more mature films like her
upcoming film, "Dead Like Me," which is a direct-to-DVD movie based on
the television series. The film is set to be released in 2009. Britt
will also star in a horror called, "Trick 'R Treat," where she will
play the character of Marcy. Britt is hoping to get more intense roles
in the near future. She has said she wants to expand her repertoire and
try something different, something more dramatic perhaps. Recently,
Britt played the role of Mackenzie in, "Ace of Hearts," starring Dean
Cain. When asked how she liked working with Dean Cain Britt states, "He
was an awesome on-set dad!"
With a bright acting and singing career ahead of her, Britt seems to
have it all. "It is unbelievable to have such a cool job because it
really isn't a job to me, it is too fun to be considered work. I feel
very blessed to be in the position that I am in," Britt tells Teen
Scene. If you would like to learn more about Britt McKillip and the
