elvisrocknroll.jpgMost people are curious about one celebrity couple or another. You root for them to make it, and you mourn with them when it falls apart. Whether they made it or not, certain Rock and Roll couples will always stay with us.

All-American Rejects Interview PDF Print E-mail
Written by Lauren Becker

aar.jpgWith the impending Presidential election, it seems like everyone has some kind of opinion about the state of things these days. In a recent interview with Mike from the All-American Rejects, he talks about the search for impartial news. “Finding an unbiased news source that doesn't over-sensationalize every minor action/quote/breath is tough, so it almost makes you want to turn a blind eye.” The main source of news these days is television and even those aren't all neutral. "Definitely not Fox. That's an easy one. CNN or MSNBC are tolerable, most of the time," Mike says when asked to choose his network of choice. Obviously, it's not all that easy to do, but Mike says that "I try to stay informed, but I'd be lying if I said I was completely up-to-date and knowledgeable about every position the candidates stand for. I think I can confidently say that any change right now, coming from either side, would be a much needed ray of light after this current yahoo."

sexrockroll.jpgSex, Drugs and Rock and Roll. The general consensus in modern society seems to be that where one goes, the others will most definitely follow. From the groupie inspiration behind movies such as The Banger Sisters and Almost Famous, to the constant speculation into the behavior and private lives of the likes of Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty, the lives of rock stars will always court controversy due to the inextricable links with drugs and sex. So how were these opinions, and this relationship, formed?
