As a child, Priscilla had a nomadic lifestyle, moving from place to place, attending over twenty schools. Finally residing in Vero Beach, FL, her writing skills blossomed, where her life experiences became the topic for most of her poetry and songs. She then discovered Youtube, where she began posting herself singing R&B covers. Later, broadcasting her own original music to the world, saying she wrote her own music basically because “there wasn’t anything on the radio that I wanted to hear.” Her bedroom turned into a little stage for her to express herself through music, and she had no problem allowing others in on the show. But it was not until 2007, when she appeared on MTV’s “Say What?” karaoke show, that millions of people got to watch her. Needless to say , her popularity soared. Her viewers reaching over 2 million and her Myspace listeners to over half a million at the time.

Now with 23,548 friends on Myspace, 4,000+ followers on Twitter, and 1,852 fans on Facebook, it is safe to say that she is becoming quite well known and has built a fan base. About the sudden fame, she says “It still feels really weird to me when I'm walking through the mall and a group of teenage girls ask me what my name is…I don't think it's hit me quite yet.” Her humility is amazing considering there are over fifty cover videos on Youtube of her original song, ‘Hello My Apple’. That same song was released and now has an official music video.

Priscilla Renea is now with Capitol Records and regarding when she found out that she would be signing with them, she said she took a deep breath. “I didn't want to get too excited because I was brought up on the prospect that NOTHING is promised. I am so blessed to be where I am.” Her new album entitled ‘Jukebox’ was released on October 20^th of this year. The title ‘Jukebox’ meaning there will be a little something of everything on her album.

Priscilla has big plans of touring the world, especially making a stop in London. “It just seems like the environment would fit me so well.” She also has a goal of being successful in her career and she wants her music to be timeless. No doubt, with her talent, her goals are more than attainable.
