sidekickii.jpgIt's almost guaranteed that you've at least either seen or used a T-Mobile Sidekick, that is if you don't already own one. If not, you've definitely been living under a rock. The Sidekick is the hottest "toy" out on the market. This mobile device is not only a telephone, but it's the preferred wireless internet device for a wide range of celebrities, business executives, and other in-the-know people. This device has everything you could possibly need in the palm of your hand: a sleek design, wireless web browser which allows you access to any website, email, AOL instant messenger, text messaging, and the largest full Qwerty keyboard to allow for easy typing. Just when you thought the coolest tool couldn't get any cooler, it has.

T-Mobile is set to introduce the latest and greatest device that is a must-have for anyone who needs to keep contact with their friends, families, business contacts, and virtually anyone under the sun. The T-Mobile Sidekick II has not only undergone a serious makeover, but it also has added features which make this device so hot. So hot, in fact, that many of today's hottest A-list celebrities joined together to celebrate the unveiling of the Sidekick II. Current 'It Girl' Lindsay Lohan, Wilmer Valderrama, Tony Hawk, Nicole Ritchie, Owen Wilson, Good Charlotte, Shannon Elizabeth, Jack Osbourne, Paris Hilton, and many others partied the night away with their new best friend - the Sidekick II. Many people, including Nick Cannon from "Love Don't Cost A Thing" and "All That" fame, swear by it. "Without the T-Mobile Sidekick, I wouldn't know how to function on a day-to-day basis," says Cannon. Whether on the road, at the mall, at school, on vacation, or just chilling at home, you can rest assured when you have your Sidekick II handy, you'll always be up-to-date. What other product brings together the hottest celebrities under the sun? None.

Needing to personally experience the phenomenon that is the new Sidekick II, we arranged for a review of the product. I had been hearing a huge buzz from a few celebrity friends who had mysteriously been online every day, all day - something that isn't so common amongst the hectic schedules celebrities face. When asked why they suddenly had all this free-time to sit online, they merely pointed out that with the Sidekick II, they could now be online while doing almost anything else. From the moment I opened the new Sidekick II and pressed on the power, I was dazzled by a vivid display of colors from the newly-designed control button. Not only that, but the speaker quality is phenomenal. Already excited and enticed, I was compelled to make a quick call to my editor to tell him of the arrival of what I could tell would be my own, personal "sidekick" - so rightfully named. As I flipped open the swivel-screen, I couldn't help but feel like James Bond, until you try the Sidekick II out for yourself, you won't understand what I mean. It is beyond cool! Plus, for a device that is mainly used for wireless internet access, the sounds quality while making phone calls is really impressive. Being used to dropped calls and muddled signals, I was pleasantly surprised to have a nearly crystal clear, audible phone call without any mishaps. Bravo! While searching through the easy-to-navigate menu of options, I was like a kid in a candy store, so much to do, so little time!

A favorite of many users is the AOL instant messenger. Stay connected 24 hours a day, seven days a week! You never realize just how much you need this Sidekick until you actually use one yourself. I wonder to myself how I ever lived without one. I can constantly check my mail, receive news updates, browse the web, etc! How cool? It's amazing to think how far technology has come and it is totally evident in the Sidekick II. My fingers have been thanking me a million times over now that I don't need to check my email or try and text message via my cell phone. The fully-integrated keyboard, much like that on any computer, is so easy to use that you'll wonder why you ever even attempted to 2way from your phone. Add in the fact that the new Sidekick weighs 25% less then the original and that the battery lasts about 33% longer (approx. 4.5 hours of talk time) - you have no excuse not to do yourself a favor and buy one.

As if that isn't cool enough, you can now buy different colored "bumpers" for the outside of the Sidekick! Also, download games, actual song ringtones, YAHOO! Messenger, and almost anything else you can think of. The possibilities are pretty much endless. The Sidekick II will hold upto 2,000 contacts so you can add all your friends and family into your address book. Snap and send up to 36 pictures at a time with the all-new built-in digital camera. The future is yours with the Sidekick II. Though it isn't due out in stores for a few more months, you can head on over to www.danger.com and check out a demo to get a sneak peak at just what the Sidekick II is all about. Trust me, you won't be sorry.

It seems really cool but I don't know if it's any better than the iphone though. Either way I think they're both really cool.
