For Dave, 34, and Abbey, 16, their family holiday was one that they will never forget, but for all the wrong reasons. This father and daughter survived a shocking and tragic accident while on holiday in Orlando, Florida. However, they find it very difficult to count themselves as lucky because whilst they managed to get out of the car alive, Louise, 32, their beloved wife and mother, did not.
While on the way to Walt Disney World driving along the interstate in 2007, Dave and his family got caught up in a police chase. He said “we were driving along interstate 4 when out of nowhere this car zoomed past us going at least 120 miles per hour. We tried to ignore what had just happened and continued driving” But this holiday was about to turn into the vacation from hell. “Suddenly out of nowhere 4 police cars zoomed passed us and slammed their breaks on.”Without time to think David went for his breaks too but not being used to American cars there wasn’t enough time. He hit the police car and the Windsor’s car turned upside down within a matter of seconds.
