At the start of the episode, Casey is offered a position on the Panhellenic board and her first task is to find out the conditions surrounding the Gamma Psi fire. She, however, decides to come clean to the president of the Gamma Psi house who tries to blackmail her into giving Gamma Psi the ZBZ house until the Gamma Psi house is built. Evan advises her to find the truth behind Songfest as a way of getting even with Gamma Psi or at least escaping expulsion, ridicule and the loss of the ZBZ house.
Casey investigates and finds out that the Gamma Psi president slept with a Songfest judge to ensure that Gamma Psi won the contest. She uses the evidence to convince the Gamma Psi’s to call it even in order to uphold their reputation of the Gamma Psi’s and the ZBZ’z. Rusty tries in vain to woo Erica, a Tri Pi sister, without success, until Ashleigh convinces him and Dale to participate in a Nerd auction and change his look to “nerd chic.” After being auctioned though, he finds that Erica only bid for him because the Tri-Pi’s need someone to fix stuff around their house. He also apologizes to Dana, an engineering student who has had a crush on him since freshman year, only to have her heart crushed when Rusty ignored her and Erica outbid her during the auction. Dale is auctioned of for $50. Fair. Cappie and Evan’s dispute continues in the sacred society, and leads them to be abandoned by the society. Cappie urges Rebecca to avoid Evan, but when she refuses to listen, he lets her know that he’ll be there when Evan messes up as usual. The episode ends with a triumphant Casey, an apologetic Cappie, smug Rebecca, smarter Rusty, and an unapologetic Evan. Highlights: - The "Economics for Dummies" professor's shirt: BFFLWHLAGSAL. Find out what it means! - Cappie and Rebecca sprawling on the human sexuality professor's car to convince him to let one of them over tally in his class. His reaction “you kids are shameless” - Quote:“I cant believe we missed a nerd auction.. I always wanted my own nerd”- Beaver Quote this article on your site
