Situated on the 6th floor of a non-descript building in New York’s Chelsea neighborhood is Face to Face Spa. This spa is unlike any you have probably ever seen. On a recent visit to the Big Apple, I took the opportunity to get the “Ultimate Massage” at Face to Face, and the ultimate massage it was. Upon entering Face to Face you are greeted by a friendly receptionist who will help to make you as comfortable as possible while you wait to enter your treatment room. You will feel at ease in the lounge area where you can sip a beverage and read a magazine. After your short wait you will be taken into one of three treatment rooms. It is New York, so the rooms are not large by any means, but this gives the massage a more intimate feeling which is ultimately what Face to Face is all about. If you’re looking to just be a number, Face to Face is not for you. Enrique, who can call Neil Patrick Harris a client, gives individual attention to each of his clients making the experience that much more special.

Onto the massage, the Ultimate Massage is a deep tissue massage that forces you to relax and loosen your muscles. In other words, it is 70 minutes of pure bliss. Your rubdown will focus on each tension area; Enrique spends just the right amount of time on each area. Upon leaving Face to Face you will be completely relaxed and ready to  take on the concrete jungle of NYC again.
